If you find a dataset that you would like loaded into the SpatialKey Data Mart, there are a few pieces of information that need to be provided with the request. This information will help SpatialKey define and organize your file in the Data Mart.

- Point datasets should be provided in CSV format with accompanying XML file. The CSV and XML files should provided together in a ZIP file. How to generate an XML file?
- Shapefiles are composed of a few required files – .shp, .shx, and .dbf. These files should be provided together in a ZIP file.

- Is the data internal to your organization? Is the data available through a license/subscription that your organization has? Is the data available to the public? It’s important for SpatialKey to understand the source of the data you are providing so we can best categorize it in the Data Mart and make it available to the appropriate audience.
